They constructed the Big River lapa to cater for those dream weddings, and the large Garden Pub and Restaurant next to the Vaal River was opened to the public 7 days a week where you will enjoy being greeted by the relaxed and charming personnel and be offered a variety of dining options that is freshly prepared by our gourmet chefs that can cater for your every need. So, come and enjoy the simplicity and tranquility that the Vaal River has to offer. The River Palace is a tranquil, fully licences venue hire, with an exquisite 20 acres garden pub and restaurant allocated on the banks of The Vaal River in Vanderbijlpark. We cater for all kinds of events, from Weddings, Corporate functions, Birthday celebrations, and many more. Whatever the occasion, we have the Venue, Menu and Means to do it all. Comprising of a 340 SQ.M this large lapa is able to seat up to 150 guests comfortably with a dance floor and has its own serving station and its own private bar and restrooms. You will have ample space to enjoy your day to the fullest. We offer full draping of the venue for weddings and elaborate functions. The small lapa is allocated a mere few meters away from the banks of the vaal river. Ideal for those small parties and year end functions. This lapa is also utilized as a Chapel for your wedding, overlooking the beauty of the Vaal River as you say your vows, can be truly a sight to behold. Our Top Deck Lapa is one of our most prestige and popular venues. With is magnificent unobstructed view that looks out to the vaal river, will leave your guests at aw of its beauty. It has a bar adjacent to the venue, so your guest don’t need to go far for a refreshing drink. We have Two Vaal River Cruisers available for small weddings, birthday parties and ideal for year end functions. Both our vaal river cruisers have a cash bar on board, restrooms, its very own sound system, and seating so that you can have a fanatic meal whilst out on the cruise.
